AccuCare Home Health Care of St. Louis was featured in St. Louis Magazine in January 2025, spotlighting the leadership transition shaping the company’s next chapter.
The piece centered on Dana Moulton, RN, BSN, who stepped into the role of owner and president as her mother and founder Jacque Phillips, RN, BSN, began stepping back after more than 30 years at the helm. The headline captured it well: Dana is keeping the heart in home care while bringing her own vision to the work her mother built.
A Family Legacy, Continued
Jacque founded AccuCare as a single mother and registered nurse, inspired by caring for her own parents at the end of their lives. What began as a home-based operation grew into one of St. Louis’s most trusted private duty home health agencies, built on compassion, relationships, and a commitment to care that goes beyond what Medicare covers.
Dana, a third-generation nurse who began her career as an ICU nurse in Chicago, returned to St. Louis to join AccuCare full time. Over four years she worked through every part of the business before taking the lead role.
“This isn’t just a business; it’s about helping people and making a real difference in their lives,” Dana said in the feature. “That’s something my mom instilled in me, and it’s something I’ll carry forward.”
What Comes Next
Under Dana’s leadership, AccuCare continues to expand its skilled clinical services and nurse care management offerings, with a focus on keeping nurses involved in home care oversight. AccuCare also continues to grow its event medical services, providing nurses, paramedics, and EMTs at major St. Louis venues.
As a locally owned, women-owned agency and not a franchise, AccuCare has always had the freedom to treat every care relationship as its own. That independence remains central to how the team operates today.
