Call us or submit a request online. No physician's order or referral needed to get started. Someone from our team will be in touch to learn a little about your loved one and help you sort through next steps.
We have a real conversation
This is where we really get to know your family's situation. We want to understand not just what kind of support is needed, but what your loved one's days look like, what matters most to them, and what would bring your family peace of mind. Take all the time you need.
Our team comes to you
Once you are ready to move forward, we will send over a simple agreement to get the assessment scheduled. Our nurse will visit your loved one at home, taking the time to get to know them, their routines, what they enjoy, and what they need to feel comfortable and safe.
This assessment is included as part of starting care with AccuCare, and families tell us it is one of the most reassuring parts of getting started.
Your care plan comes together
Based on what our nurse learns, we put together a care plan that is specific to your loved one. Not a template, not a checklist. It reflects who they are, what they need right now, and how that might shift over time. Learn more about our range of services that can be part of a care plan.
We choose thoughtfully
We think carefully about who we pair with your loved one, considering personality, communication style, shared interests, and the kind of support they need. A good relationship between a caregiver and client makes everything better. If the fit ever does not feel right, just let us know and we will make it right.

Questions families often have
A few things we hear most often before families get started.
How quickly can care begin?
In most cases we can have a nurse assessment scheduled within 24 hours of your first call and care starting shortly after. If your situation feels urgent, please let us know and we will do our best to move quickly when a family needs us to.
Do I need a doctor's referral or physician's order?
No. AccuCare is a private duty home care agency, which means families can start care whenever they are ready. You are in control of the timing, and we will be here when you are.
What if the caregiver is not quite the right fit?
Just tell us. A good match matters deeply to us, and we will work with you until we find someone your loved one looks forward to seeing. We want every visit to feel like a bright spot in their day.
What happens as my loved one's needs change over time?
We stay with you. Because a nurse is involved throughout the care relationship, we are already paying close attention. When needs grow or shift, whether that means more hours, different kinds of support, or adding our Nurse Care Management program, we layer in what is needed. Your family will not have to start over or re-explain everything.
What services can be part of a care plan?
Quite a range. From companionship and personal care to meal support, dementia care, respite for family caregivers, and nurse care management.
